FairVoteUBC is a group of UBC students who believe Canadian Democracy is broken and are committed to making real change towards fair, proportional elections in our lifetime.
The group is now largely inactive but the following resources are available is someone wants to restart it.

Is this group an AMS club? And what do you mean by “fairly inactive?”

I’d say it’s a ‘lapsed club’. We were an official club in 2009/2010 but did not renew and almost all our members are now graduated. It was essentially created in reaction to the BC-STV referendum and fizzled out after that. I still maintain the blog but don’t write for it anymore unless a very specific democracy+UBC issue comes up.
